Upcoming U.S. Import Rule Changes – removal of the de minimus exemption.

Starting August 29th, 2025 there will no longer be a duty exemption for low-value packages entering the U.S.  This is known as the de minimus exemption for goods valued $800 or less.  From what we know, after August 29th there may be tariffs applied to orders that are shipped to U.S. addresses, and these tariffs may vary depending on the source country of your order. 

Service Level Update

  1. We are experiencing higher than normal call, email, and chat volumes at this time.  Thank you for your patience as we work hard to assist everyone as quickly as possible. 
  2. We are working diligently to process all orders currently in process.  All orders that are in our system by Friday, August 22nd will be shipped as usual.  Any orders received after this date will be held in our system until new shipping procedures are implemented on August 29th. We anticipate that shipping will resume again as early as September 2nd, 2025. 

​Any customers who place orders after August 22nd and their orders are being held, will be ​contacted to confirm product availability and pricing prior to their order shipping. 

IMPORTANT – Please note the following:

  1. Based on the current information we have, starting August 29th the various postal services that we work with will be required to collect and remit tariffs to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).  This means that any tariffs will be prepaid by us before your package us shipped.

  2. Our dispensing partners are located in multiple countries, and the postal services in these countries are implementing new tariff pre-payment and customs declaration procedures to meet CBP requirements. However, it is unlikely that all of our dispensing partners will have this system in place by August 29th, which will temporarily affect product availability, pricing, and shipping times.

  3. We will do our best to keep our prices low, but due to these significant changes that are out of our control, our prices may rise temporarily depending on the source country of your order.  These price increases are the result of the need to prepay tariffs, changes in availability of our lowest-cost medication options, higher shipping costs, or a combination of these factors. 

    As a result, product prices may differ from your previous order.

    In addition, we are temporarily suspending our price match guarantee policy until further notice.

  4. We anticipate that delivery times will be less easy to predict for the next few weeks.  We will continue to ship orders as quickly as possible, however, extra customs procedures may extend delivery beyond our usual timeframes.  We encourage all customers to allow extra time and order well in advance.

    Any order replacement shipments will be reviewed individually and may be subject to additional costs.  

 

We recognize that these are major changes in our shipping and pricing policies.  Our highest priority remains ensuring your access to safe and affordable medications.  

 

We are working closely with all of our shipping partners and monitoring developments on a daily basis, and we’ll continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
